Where are you based?

Leatherbound is a one-man shop owned and operated by Silas Perry, an American living in Taiwan. My workshop is in Taoyuan City, just south of the capital, Taipei.

Free shipping is currently limited to the following destinations:  the USA*, Canada, France, Germany, the UK the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Macao, Mainland China, the Philippines, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan.

EMS shipping is available for the bulk of the above destinations, as well as the following countries: Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium, Italy, and the Czech Republic.

Air Parcel is available for Spain, Austria, Slovakia, Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain.

*Hawaii excluded.

Lead Time

If you order a made to order item, you will be contacted with an estimate of current lead time.

If you need the item(s) by a certain date, please contact me prior to placing your order.

If you order a ready-made item, it will be shipped out in 1-2 business days.

Returns

Ready-made items may be returned, unused in the original packaging.

Made to order or custom items may generally not be returned as they are made to your specifications. If you are not satisfied with the product, please contact me to resolve the issue.

FAQ

What does the partial tracking cover?

Typically, this will show acceptance date, export date, arrival date in destination country, and when the item makes it to the distribution center in your country. For additional information about your package’s status, please contact your local postal service.

I haven’t received my item yet.

Minor delays are not uncommon if sent via Post. Most commonly, this would be due to delays with your local postal service or a customs delay. Longer delays may happen during the busy times of the year. If your package has limited online tracking, you may contact the local Post to find the package’s whereabouts if desired.

How is the item packaged?

Items are presented in a Leatherbound dust bag inside a black gift box. The gift box is protected by a hard mailer box (or in the case of single item FedEx shipments, FedEx branded packaging is used).

Will I have top pay import duties?

That depends on the policies of your country of residence.
