    Open-sided construction allows easier access to the center pocket. It's mainly recommended to frequent cash users.

    Default accent pockets are the bottommost pockets on both sides of the wallet. If you wish for the middle pockets instead to be the accents, please add your request to the order notes.

    *Thread

    Matching thread to the lighter colored leather is generally recommended. For exotics, it's suggested to match the exterior. Note: As item is hand-sewn, thread color will be the same on both exterior and interior.

    The default and italic typefaces are 4mm tall. The old style is 3.5mm tall. And the standard font is 6mm tall. The standard font is limited to capital letters only.

    1. Personalization without foil can turn out very subtle on textured leathers, especially Sherpa, Epsom, and Dauphin. It is recommended to choose foil with these leathers. 
    2. We take care to make the personalization durable, but we do not guarantee the foil integrity for the life of the item.
    3. Default location for folding wallets is the inner right hand corner. For non-folding wallets, default location is the front right hand corner. For other items or requests, please indicate your preference in the order notes.
      1. For wallets with the mini pocket addition, personalization will be stamped in the center of said pocket.

Design & Capacity

Construction

  • Hand sewn using the saddle stitch method
  • Detailed edge work. Edges are finely creased, hand painted, and polished to a smooth finish
  • Middle pocket is lined with leather

Edge paint color defaults to maker’s choice, which is typically matched to either exterior or interior. For special requests, please add an order note. Note: Top stitch line is omitted unless burnished edges are requested (available only with vegetable tanned leathers).

  • Polyester thread for superior abrasion resistance

Softer leathers (Chèvre, Sherpa, Python, or Sharkskin) are backed with reinforcement to prevent stretching over time.

3 pocket and 5 pocket wallets are identical in height, length and thickness (at the edge). Thickness may vary slightly depending on leathers chosen.

Fits half-folded banknotes up to 72mm in height, like USD, CAD, AUD in the center pocket. Banknote size reference chart. Custom dimensions available upon request.
