    Open-sided construction allows easier access to the center pocket. It's mainly recommended to frequent cash users.

    *Thread

    Matching thread to the lighter colored leather is generally recommended. For exotics, it's suggested to match the exterior. Note: As item is hand-sewn, thread color will be the same on both exterior and interior.

    Standard font is limited to capital letters only (max 2 of the same letter). The old style font is smaller, but more expansive allowing for upper and lower case letters as well as numbers and symbols.

    Please note the following:

    • Initials will be stamped in the inner bottom right corner for folding items and in the front bottom right corner for non-folding items, unless specified otherwise.
    • For items with the mini pocket addition, initials will be stamped in the center of said pocket
    • Personalization without foil may be very subtle on textured leathers, especially Sherpa & Epsom.
    • Foil may show premature wear compared with the rest of the item as it ages

Design & Capacity

Construction

  • Hand sewn using the saddle stitch method
  • Detailed edge work. Edges are finely creased, hand painted, and polished to a smooth finish
  • Middle pocket is lined with leather

Edge paint color defaults to maker’s choice, which is typically matched to either exterior or interior. For special requests, please add an order note. Note: Top stitch line is omitted unless burnished edges are requested (available only with vegetable tanned leathers).

  • World-class French, Italian, or Japanese leathers (according to above selection)
  • Polyester thread for superior abrasion resistance

Softer leathers (Chèvre, Sherpa, Python, or Sharkskin) are backed with reinforcement to prevent stretching over time.

3 pocket and 5 pocket wallets are identical in height, length and thickness (at the edge). Thickness may vary slightly depending on leathers chosen.

Minimalist wallet

I ordered this wallet with 4 pockets (with 3 pockets on one side). This wallet is so nice, much better and sleeker than the Chanel cardholder I have. The saddle stitch is impeccable; I have a couple saddle stitched leather goods, and some artisans are better than others. Silas is definitely one of the better ones. Not to mention his customer service is top notch! Yes, the wait time for your finished leather good is long, but I’d argue this is standard for any bespoke service, especially for someone who literally hand stitches his work.

I’ve spent way too much money on designer wallets that don’t even come close to the quality and detail that is demonstrated with my wallet from him. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
