    Standard font is limited to capital letters only (max 2 of the same letter). The old style font is smaller, but more expansive allowing for upper and lower case letters as well as numbers and symbols.

    Initials will be stamped in the inner bottom right corner for folding items and in the front bottom right corner for non-folding items, unless specified otherwise. For items with the mini pocket addition, initials will be stamped in the center.

    Please note that foil show may premature wear compared to the rest of the item.

Construction

  • Hand sewn using the saddle stitch method
  • All edges are finely creased and polished to a smooth finish
  • Semi-lined

I employ both burnishing and hand painting in my work. I will choose a suitable edge treatment depending on the leathers chosen. If you’d like a specific edge treatment, please add your request to the order notes.

  • Shell cordovan exterior from Shinki-Hikaku or Leder Ogawa
  • Full leather interior using full grain leather from world-class tanneries
  • Polyester thread for superior abrasion resistance.

Swatches are from Shinki unless otherwise indicated.
